wonderful sentence. It made me think of my mother who died a year ago. She was super responsible mother of 6...but she discovered painting and sculpting when I was 13 and when she disappeared into her studio every day, I think it was the Who she was growing up to be--she took chances, stretched and didnt give a damn what anyone thought.

she was growing old, but also growing into the self she was meant to be. A model for me although I still wonder what it means for me. martha
