It is always something to read a piece about grief that is at once searingly painful and beautiful. While my loss of two pregnancies does not compare with your loss of Ana, I was flattened by the stupid things people said with the best of intentions--but that bordered on cruel. In our culture we don't value the deep, never-ending agony that comes with loss. People have such a hard time sitting with sufferers when there is nothing else to do. As you put it, "walk with me."

I am sorry for your loss of your precious girl, and I wish you would find people who can have the reverence that your loss deserves
