I am well aware that people will always kill each other and will always find a way to do it. And Cain wasn't mentally ill, he was really pissed. There is no need for people to own guns that have the capacity to kill multiple people at the same time. Your tired British analogy doesn't fit. in that revolution, we won--1 bullet at a time---and it works. I have no problem with people owning a gun for protection, for sport or even personal preference, But there is no need for automatic weapons. My father, an FBI agent carried a gun everyday and for a time was a firearms instructor at Quantico. He and his colleagues had an enormous respect for the power of guns and were the most vociferous about gun control issues.
