For people who suffere recurrrent clinical depression, you've got to really be careful of the on and off ramps of antidepressants. Feelig well is ofen confused with being well. Quick withdrawal from antidep. can lead to recurrances theat are 1/ more recurrences 2. recurrences that are less easy to treat.

I think really careful weaning if you are wanting to go off is the way to go. Antidep and mood stabilizers often dig deep in and dont like being pulled out. A good psychopharm. can work with you for the best out comes. I believe strongly in psychotherapy as well.

I cant tell you how many times Ive had docs say that my sexual dysfunction was due to depress, not drugs. Same with weight gain. There are some things in this arduous journey where I have to keep my own counsel
